FESA Presents a Conversation with Lisa Howell

Join FESA and the University of Ottawa's Lisa Howell for an afternoon of learning and discussion! Lisa will be presenting The Education of Augie Merasty: A Residential School Memoir.

This event will feature a brief presentation from Lisa about the book, followed by a discussion about its importance, and how we can learn from voices like Merasty's. Participants are encouraged to read the book in advance of the event but all are welcome! Attendees will be entered into a raffle to win your own copy of the book.

Practicum Primer Event for First Year Students

Are you a first year Teacher Candidate nervous about practicum? Join FESA on November 15th from 3:00 - 5:00pm in the Resource Centre for our Practicum Primer. You'll hear from Second Year students about their personal practicum experience and have the opportunity to ask them your own burning questions! We will have snacks and door prizes!

Note: While we will have Faculty representation to answer general questions about placements, specific questions related to your own placement should be raised directly with the practicum office. This event will focus on Second Years experiences and helping Year 1 candidates feel more comfortable before entering their own practicum placements. See less
